THE INVENTORY REPORT

Under the revised terms of the housing act all deposits taken by landlords or letting agents for short hold tenancies after April 2007 must be protected by a tenancy deposit scheme (TDS). It is in the interest of both the landlord and the tenant to have a balanced and comprehensive inventory report compiled before the commencement of the tenancy. This document can be used to validate whether the tenant is entitled to a full or partial refund of the deposit.

Our role is to compile a detailed report on the condition and the contents of the property. Every item will be listed with a description and comments on the condition of the item backed by digital photographs.
